We tested OnePlus 5T and Xiaomi Redmi 5 for this app. In this test, we found that the security patch claimed in Redmi 5 was Miss and the result was Inconclusive for 48 patch. On the other hand, five patch inconclusive were found in test results of OnePlus 5T, but this handset did not miss any patch.

The research firm has tested approximately 1200 smartphones and flagship smartphones of companies like Google, Samsung, HTC, TCL. This test showed that there were no security patches in test smartphones that these companies were claiming to be issued. So if you are worried about your security or want to check your phone's last security patches, there is also an app available for SnoopSnitch. Through this app (SnoopSnitch) you can find out whether the security patch is being claimed whether the smartphone is running on it or not.
