MS Outlook works on POP and IMAP
mail server. POP creates a PST file. In case of IMAP if there is MS Outlook
2013 and later editions that time an OST file will be created. So they need to
convert OST file in PST format, for this they can use OST to PST Converter Tool.
IMAP creates PST file when user uses MS Outlook 2010 and earlier editions.
Every user wants a Password
protected PST file, so no one can access their PST files without their

When using
Outlook -
Step 1- Open MS Outlook.
Step 2- Open File Menu.
Step 3- Click on Import and Export option.
Step 4- From the Dialog box selects the”Export to a file” option and click next.
Step 5- From the dialog box select the “Personal Folder File” option and click next.
Step 6- From
the dialog box select the desired folder and click on next.
NOTE: - Include Subfolder
option must be checked.
Step 7-In next dialog box provide a path to save it and select one option as your requirement and click on finish
Step 8- After this a dialog box will be open in this you can set the
password in your PST File and click OK.

When have
PST file –
In some conditions User have only
Password protected PST file and want to remove or reset the Password but they
don’t have any MS Outlook edition. In this situation here is a very useful and

Step 7- A confirmation dialog box will be
open after reset the password.
Step 8- Press OK and now you can access
your password protected PST file with new password.
